It's funny to see the different personalities in each of the girls at their swim meets. At large meets where we sit in elevated stadium seating, Sam and I yell and wave to get Madeline and Charlotte's attention so they know where we are watching from. They will give a small courtesy (perhaps embarrassed) smile or wave back. Grace will often smile and wave at us from the time she prepares at the clerk of course to the moment before she takes her mark. She will not step onto the block without making eye contact with both of us first. Their different styles each make me smile.
