We took a few days off school to go to the Great Wolf Lodge in North Carolina. Its been the most discussed and requested vacation destination since we last took the girls almost 3 years ago. Everyone but Alice was tall enough to ride the fast slides, so we were much less separated this trip. If walking all day around the water park just under the running point and climbing story after story of stairs wasn't enough to tire them…they spent their mornings and late evenings running through the hotel with their magic wands playing an interactive scavenger hunt game, called MagiQuest.
Sam and I enjoyed staying this close to Christmas because there were no crowds, but the girls would probably say it was great to have Christmas songs and real snow falling in the lobby each night.
