Such sweet gift giving to each other….little treasured trinkets from their rooms or bought with change from piggy banks. All wrapped with love. Requested gifts from Santa this year: Grace asked for a back massager, Madeline wants a toy elf, Charlotte wants a piano for her American Girl doll, and Alice asked for gum.
Our entire community was infected with the flu this month. We made it through the last day of school before finally showing the first symptoms. Not how anyone would plan a holiday, but we made the most of our days inside, thankful we could be home. Christmas Eve was spent on the mend in pjs, bathing late afternoon only to dress again in clean pjs. We briefly went outside only to put out reindeer food!
