There aren't many things better than Christmas morning with the girls at their current ages. Charlotte wished for a plush seahorse to replace the one she lost, Madeline wanted a "rock star" outfit and ballet shoes. Grace also wanted ballet shoes, and after almost 2 years of asking for an iPod touch and carrying around her homemade one made of cardboard and broken ear buds, Santa rewarded her with an iPad mini. Alice was fully content after pulling the bubble tape from her stocking. I have loved seeing the tree skirt being filled this month with homemade cards and gifts. The majority of the gifts given this year were taken from their own dressers or treasure boxes and wrapped in drawing paper and yarn. The sweetest moment was seeing Madeline open Charlotte's gift to her…the largest and most-prized rock of her collection.
