We were inspired by an illustrator of a book we read recently to experiment with different mediums on one page. These are the seascapes the girls did using watercolors and oil pastels. I was impressed with their imagination...when I asked them to draw sea creatures such as fish, they drew mermaids, sea horses, squids, octopus, sea snakes, and even lantern fish.
